When my niece fancied my boy’s teddy bear (pattern & tutorial here), I decided to make a girl version too, and Emma was born.

With the teddy bear pattern, you will also get a very detailed step by step photo tutorial, where you will learn the basics of how to make your own simple stuffed toys, and you will pick up a few tips & tricks on the way too.

Time needed

1-2 hours for beginners

Materials needed for sewing girl teddy bear pillow

  • Fleece for body and cheeks
  • Wool felt for eyes, snout, cheeks, and flower
  • Embroidery thread for mouth, cheeks, and flower
  • Toy or pillow stuffing

You will also need a sewing machine, pins, hand needle, scissors, tailor’s chalk (or erasable fabric marker), printer, and regular printing paper.
